Day 10 post-op - Is this shock loss normal?

I'm on day 10 post-FUE and I'm experiencing what I think is shock loss. A lot of my existing hair around the transplanted area is falling out and it's making me panic. The clinic said this is normal but it looks worse than before the surgery. Has anyone experienced this? When does it stop and when will it grow back? I'm really worried I made things worse.

Shock loss is completely normal! I lost about 80% of my existing hair in the transplant zone. It all grew back starting month 3-4. By month 6, I had more hair than before the transplant. Don't panic - this is actually a sign that the procedure is working. Keep taking your vitamins and be patient.

Same here - massive shock loss at week 2-3. I looked worse than before surgery for about 2 months. Now at month 8 and hair is thicker than it's been in years. Trust the process! Take photos to track progress, it helps with the anxiety.
