How to hide transplant from coworkers?

I'm scheduled for a transplant next month but I haven't told anyone at work. I can take 10 days off but I'm worried it will still be obvious when I return. How long until it looks somewhat normal? Any tips for concealing the procedure? I was thinking of saying I had a minor accident or something. What excuses have you guys used?
